Houma Southland Mall Hotels

"Breakfast in their restaurant is always great, cooked to order. I also recommend walking through their parking lot to Big Als Seafood. Eating their 10 years now & never had a bad item served. Best Seafood within 200 Miles. The Ladies behind the desk are angels. It isn't the newest Hotel. But is spotless & has 5* service for under $100 a night. Hope i get to return again since i retired from working in Louisiana "

"stated with my elderly mother over the weekend. staff very sweet and not overbearing. hot water. it just takes a minute to warm up, pool. room was very clean. will return"

"Overall - good hotel, wonderful staff. However, if you are traveling with handicap - this is not a good hotel choice. Handicap room, had very little room to maneuver a wheel chair. The bath had no bench, and while it had bars, was in no way accessible. There were rails in bathroom, but none designed for toilet use. The room appeared to be a normal room that the elected to throw some metal bars up haphazardly and then define it as accessible. So while the other parts of the hotel are fine, and the staff was great - this is NOT AN ACCESSIBLE HOTEL."

"When you check in make sure they have you accounted for your entire stay. My daughter had four nights stay with Expedia and Hampton only had her for three nights stay. Her card was charged for the four nights and had to convince the Hampton people she was right. They insisted she had to call Expedia about the matter. Not no but no way. They finally acknowledged that she was right. A customer should be given more acknowledgement up front and not have to completely keep explaining that they have and paid for four nights rather than three. We should not have had to stay in their lobby for 15 or 20 minutes having to explain. They blamed it on Expedia which I disagree. I’ve stayed at Hampton for 3 stays in the last couple of months, total of 9 days. My next one is coming up so I have to rethink it. Hope things get better for communication with their guest."
