The area around the hotel is fast changing and was once very run down. It is coming up quickly now and the promenade in particular is clean, safe, well designed, and nice place to hang out and walk down to the Old Town in Hastings.

Lovely stay
"Lovely place for our short weekend trip. Property was well kept, clean, well stocked and roomy. Overall park was nice but not many facilities for young children (the play park could be much better) however the pool was great baby pool well heated! A rundown place with more than its fair share of winos. The gay pride march was good and punctual

At Leonard's has s tranquil feel to it and has a good selection of eating places. The beach is a pebble one but great walk above or below the promanade. Hastings pier is walkable but the local authority often lock it up.
