「The room we stayed in was far too hot. Even though we had the window open, the temperature control set to 16°C and the fan on, it was very uncomfortable. We found it difficult to sleep. We also spent as short a time as possible in our room. We were disappointed with the food available. The website advertised a Market Menu, which wasn't available. Just the expensive menu in the restaurant to choose from. However the breakfast staff we very courteous and the choice of food was excellent.」

「We had a lovely comfortable bed, lovely clean sheets! The breakfast was nice! The staff were attentive. But it hadn’t been cleaned very well at all & the carpets were thread bear & very dirty.. It does need a lot of work, money, time & effort spent on the place, which we were told that those efforts are going to be put in place. We do hope so because we’ve been staying there for over 6 years now & would love it to see brought back to life..」

「Achtung, wir konnten unser Elektroauto laden, allerdings wurden uns am Ende 0,75£ / kw/h verrechnet! Das ist natürlich viel zu viel für eine Wallbox. Zugegebenermaßen haben wir im Vorfeld nicht nach dem Preis gefragt, wir haben mit so einem Wucher aber auch einfach nicht gerechnet. Daher ein Stern Abzug. Ansonsten eine gemütliche, saubere Unterkunft. Das Zimmer war ruhig in Richtung Garten. Das Frühstück war gut. Das Stadtzentrum ist sehr gut fußläufig erreichbar.」

「Neat place above the pub. If staying in that section, the stairs are quite narrow to get checked luggage up - but doable. We booked through Expedia and it said no attendant on site - so there was confusion on where to leave our bags and we did not receive a response so we ended up paying Premier Inn to hold our bags.
