“Avonpark House is a very good travellers rest. Comfortable and clean, our room was a reasonable size as was the ensuite. It’s a walkable distance into the centre of town. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Good parking available and an excellent breakfast.”

“We had an excellent stay at The Townhouse, could not ask for a better location, all the staff were wonderful, excellent to talk with and could not help you enough, especially Joe (The jack of all trades), he is a tremendous asset to the hotel. The unexpected bonus was the 20% discount off our food price for dinner as staying quests, with the meals of excellent quality. We would definitely stay there again if we ever go back to Stratford-Upon-Avon, which is also a beautiful place to visit.”

“Absolute disgrace of a place. Myself, my mum and my two children booked here for two nights. The fold out bed was apparently for two people. There’s no way. There was a single duvet on it and only one clean towel on top (three towels in total for 4 guests), so even the staff are aware that it cannot sleep 2 persons. This resulted in myself and my two children sharing the bed and my mum on the sofa bed. The tv flex wasn’t long enough to reach the socket. There was a used plaster, hair ties and……

“My expectations were far exceeded with this style. Myself and my two children had a river view family room which was a great size and had a lovely view. The breakfast was better than average for a very responsible price and kids ate free! The location is exceptional and had parking. We could walk to Shakespeare's birthplace in 5 mins or less. Would absolutely stay here again.”

“We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the beautiful area. It was a lovely touch to have a breakfast box provided for two, with porridge pots, apples, and pain au chocolat. The room also had tea and coffee-making facilities, which could easily be topped up at reception, along with some lovely cookies. We appreciated the nice bottle of cold water waiting for us in the mini fridge. Overall, a really positive experience with some thoughtful little touches that made us feel very welcome. We……

“This was a fantastic place to stay: clean, comfortable, and in an excellent location just around the corner from Shakespeare’s Birthplace. Although it is in the pedestrian-friendly walking district, parking was still easy and convenient. And the location is great for exploring town. The host provided excellent directions for getting in, which made arrival simple and stress-free. The space had a very nice layout and everything felt thoughtfully arranged. Overall, it was an extremely convenient……
