“The location is pretty good. It’s only a 4min walk to the beach. The house has some issues but overall is decent. There’s a leak in the master bedroom. There was a very big rainstorm and rain started to leak into the one front window and drip consistently throughout the night causing me and and wife to have to sleep in the living room. “Carova Beach is magical - as if time stood still. In my opinion, this is one of the loveliest houses out there. It is SPOTLESSLY clean, it has everything you need and the old world style of the home is the icing on the cake. Couldn’t be any more relaxing. The beach is BEAUTIFUL and a two minute walk from the house. Be prepared! There is NOTHING in Carova Beach. Bring water and food unless you plan on going back and forth to the pavement which isn’t exactly easy. MIND THE TIDES when getting on……

“My husband and I love this little condo complex, the location is great, pool is perfect and short walk to the beach. This unit wasn’t great. We had to call maintenance twice (5 day stay), the king bed was hard as a rock, no extra pillows and it was pretty outdated. The AC worked though! Great stay, we would just try and avoid this unit for next time.”

“Three of us stayed in the condo for a week in April and everything was great. We had a little difficulty initially finding the correct unit, but the owner was very responsive and able to help direct us. The condo is incredibly clean and extremely well appointed. It is in a great location and within walking distance of the Currituck Lighthouse, a public beach access, and a couple of restaurants. The only slight disappointment was it advertised a hot tub but there was not one, unless that is a……

“Spent part of my spring break with the spouse and 2 dogs near the beach. Plenty of room for a whole family to have come along with us, Clean, simple and inviting, Attentive and helpful property manager nearby.”

“Everything was really great with one exception. Had no sheets on top floor master bed, and none in the home. Was told by the property manager to contact cleaning service which we did. Cleaning service said property manager had been told no sheets in the house for that bedroom and expected some to be dropped off. I guess the drop off didn't happen. Property manager gave us a $100 credit to get sheets at Harris Teeter, a 1/4 mile away, but Harris Teeter doesn't sell sheets, so we didn't have them……

“The location of the house is fantastic. You have quick and easy access to a semi-private beach that has plenty of sand and waves for fun in the sun. We rented chairs and umbrellas from a third party company, which I'd highly recommend — they set everything up in the mornings and take them down in the evenings, per city regulations. The pool is on par with other houses in the area, small but adequate. It's not going to blow you away, but it gets the job done. You probably won't even use the tiki……
