"We had an amazing time staying at Il Mare Surfhotel Wacasa. We were greeted by the owner who immediately sat us down on the patio overlooking the water and brought us peach sodas and our choice of popsicles! He took pictures of us enjoying the view and when we were ready to check into our room we came inside. Our room was INCREDIBLE! "Very nice view of the lake. Very helpful staff. The rooms have a private onsen hot tub on the balcony. The rooms have tatami and are set up to sleep on the floor. You can request a bed frame to elevate the futon, but it's better to request a bed when making the reservation (although you may enjoy sleeping on a futon, Japanese style)."
