「If you are going to visit Tamarindo, this is the place to stay. The facility itself is very well maintained and the staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful with a variety of mature trees and well attended gardens. The views of the ocean are unmatched. Breakfast was included in our stay and the food was excellent. We would definitely stay here again!」

「We had an excellent time at the Mikado. It was our first time to Costa Rica and it was probably one of our best holidays. Such a fun adventure. Lolo was an excellent host and if you do stay you must take advantage of her dinners. Incredibly romantic. The location is perfect. Quick drives to Tamarindo, Playa Avellanas and Playa Conchal. Great places to explore and then return to the peace and tranquility of the lodge. Absolutely perfect. 」

「This was my second time staying here. The ocean front rooms are way nicer and more modern than the other rooms. The owner is the same as the Diria next door, where you’ll be having your breakfast. Listen, for the price, just stay at the Diria, you’ll be spending maybe 80 bucks more and it’s got all the amenities you’ll need like pools, bars, restaurants, etc. The Perla is nice and low key, but too expensive for just offering oceanfront and free breakfast. 」
