“Fantastic experience at the Maid's Head Hotel. We arrived at 1pm to drop off a bag and the receptionist allowed us to check in early and showed us to the room. The room was beautiful, filled with beams and a view of the cathedral. Drink at the bar was very nice. Buffet breakfast was the best we have had, local produce and cooked very well. Service throughout our stay was superb ”

“Been before and its so convenient for places to eat and see etc. Good value for money”

“We arrived half hour earlier than expected for check-in but room was already available so after a long drive it was lovely to be able to drop our bags and start our break to Norwich. Wisely refurbished hotel, amazing location, accessible, with car park available (a bit tricky to get it, but at 2nd attempt we found it following the clear instructions sent via email). Lovely cooked breakfast, georgian style room was spaceous and lovely, comfortable soft bed, really quiet road, beautiful cocktails.……

“Staff were friendly and excellent and location is what we expected and room and comfort was very good. The only thing we were not too happy was the free drink with the meal which was house wine as we had RED and WHITE which were not very good as we did express that to the staff there? “ Booked overnight stay following a music event nearby. Booked Riverside Hotel, but they obviously own several properties nearby. Our room was in a converted house up a side road so sadly no Riverside view. Room was very preventable. Needs a net curtain at window to aid privacy, better quality mattresses and pillows. Cleaner needs to look up & dust light fittings. ”
