The biggest issue with my stay was with the shower. During the first night, the shower's water pressure was almost non-existent. When my husband tried to shower after me, the water actually completely ran out. The room next to me experienced the same issue. We had the front desk come take a look at it the next day and they were quick to handle the issue. My showerhead had to be switched out, but that resolved the it. Another issue is that the hostel down the street plays loud music late into the night every night (not Muyu's fault), and I can hear it from my room (that faces the enclosed courtyard, not the street). I just turn on the fan to act as white noise, so that was fine. If you're not good at falling asleep with loud noises or white noise, then keep that in mind. I've read complaints about the thin curtains in the room, but again, since my room didn't face the sun, I wasn't bothered by it. Besides that, I really enjoyed my stay. The two guys handling the front desk were very helpful and gave great recommendations. Jose even sent me a WhatsApp message the day that I was supposed to arrive to check in with me. There is bottled water that the hotel provides for free. The free breakfast is delicious (fruit plates, omelette/hot sandwiches, juice, pastries, toast, coffee). The amenities are very clean. I was surprised that there were no blankets, just a sheet. Location is convenient.
