“Very dated in places and with TLC the hotel would be amazing. Rooms are big but furnishings and fittings are tired! Shower was very poor and just a trickle. Leisure facilities in the spa were OK (small pool). Breakfast was OK. Staff were freindly and service was good. As we were leaving we were told on that day the hotel was under new ownership and about to go through a major upgrade and revamp (if done well this hotel would be amazing). It is well placed with Burnley and Nelson both within 2……

“You get what you pay for, the room was clean, bed was comfortable, the en-suite was a good size with a powerful shower. The facilities offered were brilliant with the kitchen being very clean and neat. Nicola couldn’t have been any more helpful throughout our stay. Will stay again soon. ”

“The house is nothing special but the bed was comfortable to sleep in and it was in the location we needed to visit family. The kitchen smelled like something was rotting, I think the bins hadn't been disposed of properly before we arrived. There also weren't any towels even though the advert says there will be. It's an okay place to stay as long as you're not expecting luxury.”
