“We stayed at The Boathouse & Rooms in Chester for one night and really enjoyed our visit. Parking was simple in the little courtyard (we arrived around 4:30pm on a Saturday) and check-in was quick and easy. We stayed in Room 11, which was spacious, spotless and comfortably warm. The bed was a good size, the TV decent, and there was plenty of storage. The bathroom was modern and well-kept too. If I had to pick faults, the WiFi was very slow – my 5G connection worked far better – and a lot of the……

“We have used Hotels.com many times and Sykes cottages a number of times this past year al very good and this was excellent. The booking was easy but the owner of this cottage was excellent in communication and instructions ( Gaynor ) there isn’t enough I could say and we had the privilege of meeting her when she did midweek check on jacuzzi. The kitchen well designed for easy use and very well equipped with everything. Bed really comfortable. We do a lot of walking so the jacuzzi was a massive……

“The fact that dinner and breakfasts were available on site if you required them. The room I was allocated was quite large - a plus! The staff were helpful and pleasant. Noisy doors opening and closing was a disruption.. Complimentary biscuits would have been nice! ”
