「Great hotel. Had a nice upgrade. The room had a comfy bed and was very clean. There was an ac unit in the bedroom which helped cool the room down. The only thing was the shower pressure was very low and cut out a couple of times. 」

「Good location a few minutes drive out of city centre. Staff are friendly and attentive. Rooms are a decent size and very clean and comfortable. Lovely breakfast in the morning (not included) and reasonably priced for the quality of product used. Would recommend and would stay again if returning to Chester 」

「The Boathouse is on the river and next to the Grosvenor Park with is very pretty and a nice area to walk through to get to the city centre. We watched a rowing club practise right from our table at dinner. The wait staff in the dining room were very friendly and accommodating. 「Upon arrival the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. Having previously stayed at this hotel we knew to expect a lovely stay, yet it was even better than before. Great proximity to restaurants and shopping. 」

「The fact that dinner and breakfasts were available on site if you required them. The room I was allocated was quite large - a plus! The staff were helpful and pleasant. Noisy doors opening and closing was a disruption.. Complimentary biscuits would have been nice! 」
