The palazzo is beautifully restored and it is such a comfortable place. We were able to get a water taxi directly to and from so no dragging luggage around Venice. I highly recommend staying here. ”

“First, in Venice, you need to be prepared to not have the nicest finishes or a luxurious hotel room. This is an ancient city full of centuries old buildings that have been renovated many times over. This hotel does not have any food services, but there are dozens of options nearby and throughout the city. Just be prepared to walk a lot, as Venetians do.
