「The location was perfect and the host was more than accommodating. I recommend anyone who wants to stay in a quiet peaceful place and visit the national forest this place is for you. The only recommendation I have is check your email prior to going to the destination for instructions. The area is remote and cell signal is off and on. Once you arrive and access wifi your phone works perfectly.」

「Excellent place to stay to explore the eastern portion of the Shawnee National Forest. We used it as a launching point to see the Garden of the Gods, Cave in Rock, and Dixon Springs State Park. Wish we had another day to do more exploring. The cabin is secluded, so stock up on groceries and charcoal for the grill before you arrive. 「Need maintenance done first room air conditioner problem that leaked water into room mildew and mold starting and 3 electrical outlet out and changed rooms the second room sink problem reported all to front desk so hopefully it is taken care of.」

「Bathroom floor grout was completely molded. Room was incredibly humid and all the fabric surfaces were damp. The sofa in the room was tattered and stained. Sheets and beds were clean, bathroom was clean other than the molded grout. Breakfast was good. Overall property probably needs a refresh.」

「Dirty rooms, broke hot tub,cranky elevator,no ice on 3rd or 4th floor. Breakfast was basic. Yogurt,waffles,biscuts and gravy and sausage. Dry cereal and diffrent breads.」

「Hotels location is close to a couple of gas stations, so it looks to be in a weird spot, but place was super safe. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel rooms were super clean, including restrooms, and all common areas. I do recommend this place」
