"Room 527 had smell in the bathroom it was coming from the sink.and not from the floor that we reported. The main door you could not put the inside door lock on Reported to the cleaner Also they need better pillows Everything else was excellent "

"Yes the hotel may be a little worse for wear but it is very clean. The best feature by far is the friendly staff. So helpful. Same in the city, so friendly. Literally 5 minute walk from the train station to reception. "

"We absolutely loved are stay at the shankly hotel,staff were friendly,very helpful but more importantly they communicated with you and they all smiled greeted you on arrival and when leaving the premises nothing was to much trouble to help,we highly recommend this hotel and will be returning again…"

"Great hotel, so lovely and clean, staff were lovely friendly and welcoming. It was secure and safe comfortable and I would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again. Room Had a small Kitchenette tucked away with a small fridge for milk and snacks. Big room with plenty of space, large bathroom. Queens size bed. If I had to say anything negative it was maybe another hook for our coats. Loved staying here and would definitely come back. "

"Super clean hotel and room- excellent bed! Very comfortable- early check in ( though 3pm is late for standard). Plenty of hot water - tea and biscuits in room! Plenty of space to sit and do work in the room also"

"Check in and out was fine. Breakfast was plentiful. Very central hotel and next door to the car park. Have stayed here a few times. Still a great hotel. "
