"Parking is okay. Room was clean and air conditioning worked fine. Just little things here and there that needed a bit of repair or attention. One of the window shutter had a broken or missing piece. Wall outlet under tv had a seperate outlet that looked like a new one that was missing drywall around it. Some other things too but overall not bad for a short stay."

"Stayed at the property for a race weekend at Laguna Seca. Can't beat the convenience, plus a great experience for the price. Place is a little old but very clean and well maintained. We felt safe leaving our sports car in the parking lot in front of the room. A short drive to great authentic local restaurants with a ton more 10 minutes away in Monterey."

"This is my second year staying at the Sand Dollar for Monterey Car Week. It is clean, well-maintained, quiet (unlike some of the extravagantly expensive hotels in downtown Monterey with noisy cars showing off at all hours of the night) and has enough nearby solid and reasonably priced places to eat. I think anyone can stay here with confidence."
