「Booked as got stuck on the A303, nice staff, great breakfast and hard to argue with the price. My only minor criticism is being 6’3 the light they’d fitted to the single room was basically at face height so I cracked my head a couple of times getting in and out of bed. Otherwise would recommend for a cheap stay.」

「No wonder this inn is rated so highly, it's a wonderful getaway in a charming village. The lamb dinner and hot English breakfast were outstanding. Friendly atmosphere and very welcoming staff. Our room was spacious and clean. 」

「Bright friendly welcome with tea and biscuits. The gardens are extensive and lots to interest. The house feels like a medieval manor although is C19 Tudor revival. The bedroom had everything needed and mercifully no television, was clean and welcoming. Al in all a lovely stay with a lovely host.」

「Lovely brand new hotel. Comfortable bed, well thought through room with full length mirror, plenty of storage and the mirror in the bathroom doesn’t fog when you’ve had a shower. Little things like that make a big difference. I really like the eco friendly focus and it was totally fine to walk to the water, tea and coffee station on the floor. Staff were more than helpful, and the hotel was beautifully clean. Water pressure could be better.」

「It was my 3rd times been here, Still maintaining good service, clean and comfortably room. Receptionist staff is really busy especially breakfast time, the have to clean the table, managed seat, check out ,a lot of enquiry but the still keep professional and passion, Highly recommended 」

「Very lovely stay in Exeter for 2 nights at the start of our Devon/Cornwall trip. Friendly staff! Great spa with a deal for hotel guests. The breakfast was wonderful, too. Right in the middle of everything. We will stay here again without even looking elsewhere if we come back this way. We loved Exeter!」
