“My husband and I stayed at the farm for our wedding anniversary. It was such an enjoyable experience. We stayed at the NutHouse up on the hill. It was a bit of a walk but worth it for a scenic view and a quiet getaway. This is the perfect place for a weekend getaway. 10/10 recommend. ”

“My wife and i stayed in cabin ten for three nights. We were wanting to find a quiet place to relax for a few days. We found exactly that! We drank a lot of the spring water and made excellent coffee with it. Our desires to find a place of rest in a quiet place was a complete success. Management supplied a great map of the area upon check in, showing places of interest in the area (including the famous spring on site). We went out to explore the area every day and relaxed in the cabin as well.……

“The house was perfect for my wife and I as well as Deuce, our dog. Right on the creek where I caught a trout on my first cast. Loved listening to the water in the morning as I drank my coffee, excellent local coffee by the way. Great location for Boone and Blowing Rock. Just don’t take Jake’s Mountain Road, didn’t see the note beforehand. Will come back in the fall!!”

“The property was great. The kids stayed in the loft and the adults all had their own room in the main living space. The kitchen and house were well equipped. We loved the proximity to Blowing Rock and Boone. The kids especially loved walking down to check out the goats in the neighboring farm. Thanks for being great hosts.”

“With virtually nothing available in Wilkesboro for Floydfest we found this very nice cabin in Todd. 45 min to Wilkesboro but an easy ride and not a dealbreaker. Cabin was very nice, quiet with a nice view of the New River right across the street. Wish I had brought my fly rod!”

“The cabin was a great place to stay while adventuring in Grayson Highlands State Park and riding down the Virginia Creeper bike trail. The setting is peaceful and we enjoyed watching deer and wild turkeys while sitting on the back deck. The cabin was clean and as described. We took the recommendations of the owner and bought basic groceries and had dinner in Lansing. We would recommend this cabin to friends and hope to return in the future!”

“Overall this is a great pick. It is very clean, well stocked, and roomy, with a nice spot downstairs for the kids to have their own hangout spot. It has beautiful views and we got some amazing shots of storm clouds rolling over the lower elevations. Linda was also very responsive and accommodating. Overall A+”

“This was a wonderful place to stay during our vacation. The cabin was very comfortable and we especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces around the cabin. The kitchen was well stocked so cooking was easy. Great, location, too! The cabin is in a quiet, rural setting and it was an easy drive to nearby attractions, as well. “Beautiful views and nice amenities. We enjoyed a hot tub sunset looking at the beautiful mountains! It was within 15 minutes of the state park for nice hiking and downtown West Jefferson, which is a very viable small town.”

The area was nice and quiet - no cell service but we were able to use the provided wifi when we needed with our smart phones. The cabin is a perfect size for 2 or a small, young family. It was basically one large space with a bathroom as the only separated room. It was SUPER CLEAN. It has everything you needed. I felt that the owners went above and beyond to provide……
