「This was my old college 40 years ago so it was a trip down memory lane and lovely to see it put to good use. Great large room had everything you want except some draw space & maybe some coat hooks plenty of room to fit them in. Breakfast was ok but would be nice to have more of a waiting service. Shame the bar closed at 10pm when you just come back from a night out & the coffee machine is turned off for cleaning well before 10pm, these are all minor things & I would return again.」

「I love these type of B&B’s. This B&B is steeped in history built in the 18th century, On the land owned by the Spencer family, Vincent Van Gogh also lived on the square, so this is not a modern hotel if that’s what you’re looking for, it has steep stairs and smallish rooms, but is full of character, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the hospitality was fantastic and the breakfast was delicious, the pub on the corner is very friendly and only a short walk to the beach.」
