Thanks to the private allocated parking you can choose to leave the car behind and walk to the main town and attractions in just under 20 minutes. Upstairs you’ll find three well-furnished bedrooms sleeping up to 5 guests in a double room, a twin room and a third with a child’s single bed, this makes it ideal for couples and families who want to escape to the Lakes and are looking for a peaceful stay. There is also a family bathroom with shower over the bath. Downstairs you’ll find a well equipped kitchen as well as an open plan living/dining room, this is the heart of the house and great for a cosy night in after a long day on the fells.
Located just a short stroll from Bowness-on-Windermere, Haystacks offers an excellent location, far enough from the town to provide peace and quiet but close enough to walk to the heart of the action. Bowness is hugely popular with millions of visitors each year and has an abundance of shops, bars, restaurants, coffee shops and independent outdoor stores. It’s vibrant centre has a good mix of nightlife and daytime activities on offer as well as some fantastic tourist attractions including the wonderful world of Beatrix Potter and of course the famous Windermere Steamers offering pleasure rides on the lake every day.
