"The property was bigger than I expected. The place was spick & span. There were a lot of items available to eat. They even had honey (which I use in my coffee). Unfortunately, we did not get to meet our hosts but maybe we will use their place again when we return and will meet them then. "Words don’t even describe how beautiful this place is. If you are looking to escape for awhile, this is the perfect venue. I grew up in the area and often come back to visit - who knew this was hiding in the woods. A long time friend also stopped by to stay over and we were able to catch up and relax. Every detail was thought of in the planning - the extra touch was Miriam’s homemade treats that arrived each morning. Highly recommend. I know I will be coming to stay here again."

"What a beautiful place! The outside of this historic home was perfectly manicured and the colors of the trees and flowers blooming added to the spring vibes. Brenda was so welcoming and took time when we arrived to tell us some history of the home and the area. "What an amazing place! From the first time I stepped on the porch, it felt like I was right at home. The hospitality was more than excellent. The breakfasts were superb. Everything was clean, comfortable, and you really felt welcome. I will be back for sure. In fact, I will likely stay at a B&B in the future vs a hotel. "This rental was amazing, from the charm of the rustic cabin to the scenery, it was truly beautiful. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back again. Such a great getaway from our hectic lives, so peaceful and like a step back in time. My only recommendation is to bring your own split firewood and kindling. We were only provided with whole logs at the rental so we had to take a trip into town and buy some split firewood on our own. Also, the fireplace, fireitt and charcoal grill...
