「A lovely hotel, that goes all-in with the railway theme. Although it is a pub-hotel, it has been recently refurbished, with all-electronic access, so nobody can get to the bedroom area unless they are staying there. Half-price food in the pub on Mondays was a pleasant surprise, and the friendly - if slightly quirky - staff were a joy to interact with. 「We were in Room 4 on the top floor which was their largest one and had an ensuite bathroom. It was clean with a comfortable bed. We had a small issue with the shower temperature but after reaching out to the House Manager by text, it was repaired quickly while we were out. The only difficulty was parking (as in most areas of Brighton and Hove) but we were lucky to find a space not too far from the guest house. 「The hotel looks very new. Not sure if it’s a new built/ newly refurbished. It’s very modern and the staff there (Brighton) was wonderful and very welcoming during check in & out, luggage storage etc. Such a convenient location as it’s more or less 5 mins walk from the train station. About 15mins walk down to the seaside which is close enough. The room is clean and all essentials kitchenware included if you want to cook during your stay. We didn’t cook as there’s too much great food temptation...
