"The Public was an amazing experience! The only reason a put a 4 star instead of 5, is because there is a $105 mandatory charge before you can check in. It gives you access to the roof and wifi, but $100 is too much to charge! Other than that, the room was fantastic, every employee we interacted with was amazing. "

"This is our 4th time staying in POD51 over the space of about 10 years. Its a lovely, quiet hotel at a reasonable price. Its clean and in a convenient location. Times Square is aprox 25 minute walk or 15ish minute sub ride. 10/15 minute walk to the Rock. We've always stayed in the bunk pods with shared bathroom. 4 bathrooms per floor with a super handy light system in the room to tell you which ones are free. The bathrooms are clean and the showers are great. We will be back. "

The hotel lacks a communal space that is accessible 24/7 for families/groups to regroup in or even simply work from, and there are many events at the hotel so the restaurant/bar were not always both accessible to hotel guests.
