"The gentleman who spoke excellent English helped us when we drove up to the front is a very excellent representative and face for the hotel and demonstrates hospitality well. The overall hotel has the feeling of omotenashi which is rarer and rarer now as more foreign workers and more foreigners with a disregard for Japanese unspoken habits are hired in these hotels. "The hotel is very quiet. The hotel is old but they keep it very clean. The best part is that we get to see Mount Fuji in our room and from the outdoor onsen. There are 1 cold water tank and 4 types of onsen for women, 2 outdoor, 2 indoor. The onsen is very nice. Staff members are very friendly. One of them can speak Cantonese. This hotel is recommended. I definitely will book this hotel next time when I come back to Fujikawaguchiko."

I understand it is a cultural thing, but I am a nerdy white man, and clearly not Yakuza. "Stayed at this hotel back in April and it was great..this time though only one issue, this morning I missed breakfast as it ended as 9am and I hadn’t realised. Not an issue as such but tired to get some milk to take to my room but they said No and then in my room whislt I had a kettle and mugs, there was no coffee/tea or any utensils to make my own coffee…ended up going to 7-11..a little frustrating…a bowl of milk and some coffee could t have been that difficult to muster from the kitchen"

"Great hotel! We booked the hotel Hoping to get a view of Mount Fuji, but unfortunately we didn’t get to see it since it was cloudy and rainy. However, the onsen on the rooftop made it worth it. It was beautiful and clean. The room was small, but typical for Japan. There were also many walkable restaurants outside of the hotel and the subway was a 1 min walk away. Would stay here again! "
