"We were very happy with our stay at Castle House. Location was great apartment was fine, we would have liked the floors to be a little cleaner or for there to be a broom or vacuum cleaner left for us to tidy up."

"We have travelled across Europe and this hotel is by far the best! The front desk show that they are happy you chose their hotel. Splurge and book the king suite - amazing! Fantastic bakery on the corner - Brikk. 10 minute walk to Lava Show, Fly Over Iceland and Whale exhibit. 15 minutes to old town with lots of shopping. Hotel has loads of little rooms called lounges - some with fireplace or couches. Just a fantastic stay all the way around!!"

"Great location for an apartment in the middle of everything. The place was clean but the furnishings appear to be a tad old or just heavily used. Various lights were broken or missing. It just looked a little run down in the rooms but overall clean and a decent place to stay. The location is really what made it amazing. "

"The hotel is within the tourist center of the city. All the restaurants, shopping, sight-seeing, etc. are within short walking distance. Most residents are cruise passengers which is about 10 minutes by taxi. The breakfast is great."

"We loved the spacious, elegant areas downstairs, with beautiful pictures (dozens of them!) and period furniture and stylish decorations. There is tea and coffee downstairs at all times, we stayed there each night admiring the art. The staff was most helpful and friendly. Free parking was a bonus. The room (junior suite) was spacious and comfortable, but the bathroom is really tiny. The hotel shows the signs of aging, and I hope it will be renovated because it is unique in its character. Our living room heater is broken (told them when we arrive) they send someone to check two days after and the guy said he’ll come back and he never did. We used the dish washer and soaked the kitchen because the water wasn’t draining properly (no one came to check after letting them know). Our garbage supposed to be pick up every two days...
