Reminded about an hour later “yes, all in hand” Went out for the evening, came back and you guessed it, not been sorted, boiling hot and not helped by being on the top floor. Building is tired, bar staff in garden serve you like they are doing you a favour. Breakfast is good and staff in there really helpful.”

“It could be a lovely hotel if the staff smiled and had a clue what was going on. There was a lovely and friendly lady on reception, and one of the waiter serving in the evening was friendly, as was one of the bar staff (Josh). Everyone else seemed a bit surprised to have guests, and the women working at the bar weee positively rude in their demeanour. It could definitely do with an injection of cash to update it. “The rooms need at least an option of having more light. I get the theme for the hotel, but still - the lack of light in the room was deeply inconvenient. The most disappointing part was the pool area. When I visited in 2022, the pool setup was absolutely amazing for summer - cocktails in a very elegantly done Moroccan themed poolside.
