"Decent hotel in good location."

"Did a lot of research for my first visit to Boston, and I’m so glad we chose the Kendall Hotel - it was exceptional. I especially loved that it’s a historic hotel, which gives it so much character compared to the standard high-rise, cookie-cutter hotel rooms. The location can’t be beat, with easy access to public transportation and very walkable streets. That convenience aside, parking was a bit steep since we had a car with us. For the ambiance, it was a couples trip, and the hotel felt quite romantic, esp. over the 4th of July weekend. We also enjoyed the nice breakfast each morning. The hotel room itself, while not very spacious, was lovely and charming with the decor. The bathroom isn’t the most recently renovated, but it was still clean, and the housekeeping service was wonderful. Highly recommended!"

"Ginkgo is a small hotel near Central Square primarily serving the community connected to Harvard and MIT. The property feels like a small inn or private home and is located in a residential area. My room (#15) was on the ground floor off the lobby, with a comfortable king size bed, chair and desk, and bathroom. Clean, comfortable and quiet were the major characteristics. The hotel manager is a very sweet Chinese-American woman who personally engages with all the guests. Enjoyed my stay and would return. "

"The hotel was very clean...even smelled clean! The breakfast was great, with a little different variety each morning. The location was ideal for us and parking was easy and convenient. Staff were all exceptionally helpful and friendly. Will be back! Thank you!"
