“Amazing views of the now inactive volcano, with plenty of easy hiking routes around your room, since the hotel is situated within the national park. A birder’s paradise, with a small museum about the volcano and the history of the area. We had a birding tour booked through the hotel with Raúl Obregón, whom we highly, highly recommend! “Husband and I had a pleasant stay at chachagua. We arrived late at night and was greeted at the front desk with hand towels and fruit juice. Checking in was smooth and we were escorted to our bungalow (make sure to have a high car as you will drive through a low river). Bungalow was private and very clean.
