“Moldy room, staff that lies when we tried to complain, disintegrating furniture, ac is moldy and leaking water onto the carpet. Don’t stay here, we left 10 minutes after we checked in.”

“Jet spa was nice and warm on a cooler spring weekend but the jets were not working. Pool was clean but cool. The Lifesaving Station food was good and the wait staff was great! Fireplace in our room did not work and despite notifying staff on Friday evening when we arrived, no one ever came to work on it by the time we left Sunday at lunch time. The resort hosted a fairly large (200 guest?) wedding Saturday, and there was a lot of trash left all over Sunday morning. ”

“Upon arrival we were greeted with smiles and they explained the resort to us. The rooms were very clean and we had our miniature Daschund with us and she loved the balcony the most. We had 2 oceanfront rooms. I think we used just about all the amenities and even got chairs and umbrellas from the Beach Boss who was AWESOME. I think he really liked Pebbles, our dog. We enjoyed the bar, pools, hot tub, how walkable it is to other things like restaurants and shops and the drugstore is across the……

“We are just crazy about Cypress House. The property is unique as are the proprietors. They are very helpful, funny, everyone of their dining suggestions were spot on., and as good as our meals were, breakfast was the best meal of the day. “The room was adequate for a short stay, but there were several things that could be improved. The bathroom needed attention, as the toilet felt loose and moved when used. While it was nice that laundry facilities were available on-site, guests need to bring quarters to use them. I also wish there had been an outdoor area or designated space to air-dry clothes, but that was not available. The room appeared to be vacuumed, but the carpet felt old and not particularly clean, making me wonder how……

“Staff were friendly and very welcoming. We found a few maintenance things that they sprung into action to take care of. We were in a suite with a sitting room. The room was quaint and offered a wonderful outdoor porch. The only con to our stay is how uncomfortable the bed was. It was hard and spring filled which kept us tossing most the night with lack of comfort. We left before breakfast, so we aren’t sure how that was, but it smelled good! We did dine at the in house restaurant. It was ok,……

“It was very interesting. It’s a big house with different rooms. We all share the kitchen, living room, laundry room, pool and deck area. Overall it was pretty good. One thing that did irritated go get it brought our dog and all you can hear is another dog barking 85% of the time.!”

“We've stayed here multiple times and have found it perfect for us. We get poolside rooms, because they are all 1st floor, ocean side can be 2nd floor (no elevator).You literally walk through a breeze way and your on the beach. Staff are friendly, restaurants are in walking distance and pool is kept clean. We highly recommend!”
