“A great little hotel with an unlikely location on the fifth floor of a tall, modern building in the heart of Cartagena’s walled historic centre. Our room - standard with king bed - was extremely spacious and included a balcony that looked over the main, “clock tower” square. I really don’t think the location could have been any better. The continental breakfast was excellent and the staff were lovely, helping out even when our flight from Medellín was diverted to another city, while the hotel’s……

“Kind, courteous staff. Only stayed here one night when arriving in Cartagena before heading to the islands. Wish we had come back here for the second part of our trip in Cartagena. Convenient location to lively nightlife, restaurants, etc yet no right on the corner and rooms are away from the street so they are *quiet* at night. ”

“Great location walking distance to everything but a bit away from the noise and bustle of the old city centre. Having the roof top pool was great. We had a problem with our AC. They came promptly to fix when they couldn’t that moved us to a new room. Karen the customer service rep apologized many times and sent a beautiful fruit basket to our new room. Can say enough about the GHL highly recommend and we would stay again. 10/10”

“I recently stayed at Charleston Santa Teresa in Cartagena. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, with charming design and a wonderful atmosphere. The rooftop views are breathtaking and a real highlight of the property. Breakfast was also excellent—there was a delicious variety of dishes, fresh breads, and fruits that made each morning a pleasure. Unfortunately, my experience with the room situation was disappointing. My room was extremely noisy due to a disco located next door. When I asked……
