“My daughter and I absolutely loved staying here. Very short walk down the lane to the beach. People were so friendly and it felt safe. This location was close to my Ventura family. Little scary for us when the fires started in Ventura but there was a quick response to put them out.Beds were comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. LOVED the candy jar-we love Smartees.We could have walked to a few stores but didn’t need to. I do recommend this property. ”

“We have stayed in several rentals, and this one was better furnished than any. It was very comfortable and clean. The host checked in to make sure everything was right, and it was. Beds were great, plenty of linens, and the kitchen was more than fully stocked. The only complaint I had was the bbq. It was a Coleman portable and needs to be replaced, although I made it work. I still give this place 5 stars and would give it 6 if possible.”

“We have been coming to Silverstrand for 30 years and love the nice cool beach and quaint neighborhood. We loved this beach house and would absolutely stay there again. It is basic, uncluttered, a little worn but comfortable. The kitchen is pretty small and the cookware is old but it’s all functional. The house gets a little warm but the owners provide large fans and with the windows and doors open it cools off very nicely. The bathrooms are nice and the outside shower was great for rinsing off……

“Overall, we liked the property very much. The beach house was very cute and had comfortable beds, a good supply of dishes, pots and pans and linens. The outdoor patio area and furniture were very dirty making it uninviting. We brought our own lounge chairs, and were happy we did. Parking was difficult. Our main concern was the very loud traffic - day and night. Lots of very loud motorcycles. ”

“Booked this lovely cottage for a ten day stay in Ventura and could not have been happier. Super attentive owner on site and EVERYTHING about this property is outstanding. They're not kidding when they say minutes from the beach. Fruit trees visible from windows in living room. Clean accommodations. Easy access to the 101 and walking distance to several businesses. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Full stop.”
