"We had to push our check-in to after 10 PM, and thankfully, they kindly accommodated us. We were greeted by a nice man at Inverlochy Castle Hotel for check-in before driving a very short distance to the Factors Inn. The room was quite spacious, clean, and neat. We had a very comfortable stay. The room has a thorough guide to the Inn and the surrounding area, which was quite informative! The room had a tea station and some biscuits to enjoy, too."

The Caledonian Hotel

"Nice over night stop and was surprised to find an EV charger which was helpful to me. The hotel was busy with coach parties but the staff were helpful and room clean with a lovely view over the loch. Pizza in the bar was good, limited choice of larger to drink."

"Due to a change in circumstances we had to book a hotel in Oban at short notice. The Scott was one of the few hotels that had a room available for one night. The hotel is located on the main road as you drive into town. The traffic was a little noisy up until 9pm It has parking at the back of the hotel at a cost of £10 for 24 hours. Booking in was easy as the receptionist had all our information at hand and informed us of breakfast availability and location of the room. The room was large, warm, clean and tidy. The bed was a super king size and very comfortable. Shower was powerful and plenty of hot water, large fluffy towels. Quick check out available in the morning. We didn’t have the breakfast. I would recommend the Scott hotel for location, parking, huge bed and friendly service."

"The front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was decent and the rooms were clean and comfortable. One of our ground floor rooms was next to the car park which was a little disconcerting, but not noisy, so that was a relief. Another ground floor room looked onto an alley, but was clean and comfortable. Overall we would probably use this hotel again. We enjoyed exploring Fort William and Neptune's Staircase and saw wonderful scenery. We were traveling by train (no car) so were limited as to where we could get to on the bus and by walking. The hotel is a fairly short walk from the train station just outside Fort William town center."
