「Beautiful place with lovely surroudings, staff are all very friendly」

「My partner and I love this location but we noticed the check out time was 10am on a weekday so paid for some extra time in the morning. We popped the "do not disturb" sign on the door and luckily put the chain on but were a bit shocked.to find the cleaner trying to get in at 10am. She didnt seem to be aware that we were in for a longer stay which made us both slightly annoyed. We will happily stay again but not if that keeps happening. 「I cannot say enough, about how wonderful marine Troon is. For starters, It is a pitching wedge away from Royal Troon golf club for the golfers in the crowd. The course literally passes within 50 feet of Marine Troon! The pool, hot tub steam, and sauna are lovely after a round! But, what makes Marine Troon truly outstanding is the helpfulness, courtesy, professionalism, and kindness of the staff! 「We had a lovely stay at the Castle - the room was beautiful as was the food. The staff in the restaurant and those who welcomed us were amazing. Only disappointment was on check out we asked the history of the castle and were told by a very disinterested staff member to "look it up online"! We thought they would have been very proud to talk about the history and when it was built etc. Other than that we loved it!」

「we booked the family room with 2 double beds. the room was larger than expected, so quite comfortable for a family with 2 kids. BUT the corridor just outside of the room was smelling of weed. terrible if you have kids. The breakfast was lower than the average. Sea view through the window is nice and perfect location for an evening walk on the shore.」
