Place was big and roomy and cozy Had a fireplace but didn’t use it. "We had a fantastic stay! The house was extremely clean and very comfortable. The property was beautiful with lots of privacy! It was wonderful to be out in the country yet conveniently close to town- and close to so many things to see and do in the area! The hot tub is also pretty relaxing after a long day of exploring. David is a wonderful host- very kind, attentive, and extremely easy to communicate with both before and during your stay! HIGHLY recommend staying here!!"

"This is a beautiful property on the river where we enjoyed using the kayaks and playing cornhole and volleyball. There are multiple seating areas and a firepit with beautiful landscaping all around. The cabin was spotless with everything we needed provided, and only a short walk (or drive) across the road down to the river. Daniel, the host, was very helpful and friendly, greeting us when we got there and taking us to the river and showing us around. We hope to visit again soon."

"Very clean cabin and beautiful parks. We had a great time walking the trail. We recommend the barbecue place in Leakey “The Hog Pen on 336 BBQ. The only disappointment was that the river behind the cabin was dried and according to previous comments it has been dried for a few years. "

The area is quiet, the bed is comfortable, and the shower works well but the owners will tell you that hot water is limited. We had enough time to shower but you don't want to linger.
