"Location is perfect. Condo is updated. Staff pleasant and helpful. Negatives are the bedrooms are very small with no closet or dresser. Also, the delivery trucks for the grocery are right below the rooms and the trash / recycle truck comes nearly every morning by 8 for multiple loads. The hot tubs were broken the entire time we were there, so that was disappointing. The closest free parking is about a 7 minute walk."

"Very nice accommodations! The hotel restaurant was excellent, we wound up eating 75% of our meals there sitting outside with the unbelievable view of the mountains, too. Even though Hotel Canoe is the furthest Uptown, the walk to Downtown is super easy, and the transit shuttle picks up right across the street if you don't wish to walk. We will definitely stay there again...just make sure to upgrade your RSVP to a room with unobstructed views of the mountains. AAA"

"My wife and I are always cautious when places do not have a lot of good reviews or very few, as we have had bad experiences in the past. This place did not have many reviews but we decided to give it a chance. Incredibly breathtaking is all we can say. The room was amazing, the view was postcard worthy, and everyone at the property was great! We would highly recommend this place to anyone and can’t not wait to stay here again. "Lovely hotel located on the main Banff Street, it’s one of the first hotels you come to. About 20 mins walk to the main shops and restaurants but we enjoyed the walk Lovely lodge feel with a hot tub and sauna and cold dip pool if you’re brave enough Included breakfast, I was expecting a basic offering but it had everything you could want, Nice bar for a night cap or coffee Room was a tad basic (shower curtain) but it added to the charm and was certainly clean and very comfortable and had all the amenities you could want Underground parking was easy to access Staff were very friendly and helpful we’d definitely book again"

"Nous avons adoré notre séjour à cet hôtel. La localisation était parfaite pour nous (un peu à l’écart du centre de Banff) donc plus calme. On avait une passe d’autobus gratuite pour se déplacer vers le centre, entre autre. Le personnel était très aimable. Le restaurant de l’hôtel est très bon et celui de l’hôtel voisin est très pratique pour les déjeuners et collation. Très bel hôtel avec une zone spa/sauna très agréable après une grosse journée de randonnée"

"We and our pets had the most spectacular stay at this hotel. If you have the chance to book Gold status it makes all the difference. The staff and facilities were amazing. Yes the bathrooms are on the small side as this is a UNESCO property so there were limitations in how they could be designed. But everything else was phenomenal. There are so many people we want to thank from Hamish in the valet who greeted us by name! to Chamath, Caitlin, Katie, Georgia, Chris(also in valet) , Olivier, Shane and the best housekeeper Howard! We look forward to coming to visit Banff again as it is truly one of the most spectacular places to go!"
