Banff has certainly stolen our hearts. It is such a unique town surrounded by Canadian Rockies with so many activities to do, hiking trails to explore, beautiful lakes to canoe at and walk around, absolutely amazing dining options. Beyond beautiful!

There are a lot of tourists, as expected. We enjoyed all the dining options and walkability of downtown. Hiking opportunities abound. The gondola at Sulphur Mountain had an amazing view and the buffet restaurant at the top had a nice selection.

Banff is a place of many adventures, side roads and merchants peddling wares. You will meet people from all corners of the world, but you MUST beware the wildlife. Leaving a half-eaten steak in your car overnight will simply not do.

It's a lovely little town. The restaurants are everything you want. The Fudgery is a great chocolate shop. There are so many opportunities to take amazing photos. In the early morning it is a quiet and beautiful experience!

It is a tourist destination surrounded by nature. However, due to climate change, every time I come, I feel the appearance of nature has changed slightly. In particular, melted glaciers and reduced water flow are evident.

Banff has a so much to offer! Great downtown, many restaurants and bars, shopping. There are many sites to visit in town, and it is a great starting point for hikes. We really loved our stay there and will visit again!

Walking the Bow River trail to the Falls was a highlight I did everyday. The sun rising over the mountains - they look like volcanos was beautiful and the reflective water of the Bow was healing to the soul. :)

Check out Banff Roasting Company for nice whole bean coffee options. Wild Flour, Zyka and Brazen were great places for food and drink. The winter hiking options are abundant and there were many within/near town.

We LOVE this area during this time of year. The Gondola and dining atop Sulpher Mountain. Short drives to the lakes in the area. And easy access to tubing at Mt Norquay. Great small town atmosphere.
"Brewster is a great hotel that truly cares about their customers and wants to make the banff experience a good one! The standard room is small but cozy, and I love how the windows open to let in some of that alpine air. we were able to do so much given proximity to the shops and restaurants. Parking is on site, and though additional, was well worth it. Definitely recommend going with Brewster if you want to be in the center of Banff!! "
