“Wonderful stay at The Crown for two nights, the staff were so friendly and helpful with great breakfast options. We stayed in the double room which was lovely, spacious & clean with a lovely view. Would stay again”

“Service is very nice and location is very prefect as near by retail park, that’s easy to get in the restaurants. Room is clean and the size is big but dust was found on the bed.”

“Room was clean and tidy. Bed was very comfortable Sash cord was broken on window and one of the lights in the bathroom needed a replacement bulb. Tv=V reception was appalling I suggested that there was a notice warning occupants that the tap into the basin should be turned on slowly to avoid a torrent of water hitting clothes”

“There was no seating in the reception area and no service bell or similar in the reception area. Sadly staff had not been trained in processing suggestions/complaints.”

“Close to train station. Good breakfast. Overall comfortable stay though the room soundproofing could be made better.”

“The property was directly across street from main train station which takes you into London. Family room too small for family of four. No space to walk around bed. Expected 2 twin beds and a double bed but got one twin bed and a cot which was between the twin and double bed and you had to crawl across bottom of bed to stand on whatever space that was not occupied by suitcases. This should be a triple room rather than a quadruple family room ”

“Really well presented, sparlking clean bathroom and fairly new chairs. Odd placement of toilet roll holder ”
