St. Thomas Bluebeards Beach Hotels

"This was a great spot to use as our touch down space for exploring St. Thomas. We knew ahead of time there was not a usable beach at the property, so rented a car and explored a different beach each day. Its location on the east end is great and accessible to many spots from Magens Bay to Red Hook. We walked to Coki beach twice which is just down the street. We had a 1 bedroom condo which gave some separation for our family. It had a kitchenette which was great for having some breakfast each morning. The staff were extremely welcoming and pleasant. It is on a hillside, so they do provide golf carts from the main lobby and parking lots up to your room. The pools were clean and enjoyable. We only ate at the restaurant once and the food/service was just OK. We did enjoy drinks most nights along with the nightly entertainment. We also watched the sunrise from the small beach one morning. Overall very pleased with our stay, but we also knew that it was not a resort we were going to utilize the amenities at every day. "

"From our reservation through our stay - Amy was an attentive and gracious host. Amy was very attentive to any need and answered questions and inquires promptly. The accommodations for the 6 adults in our party were appointed nicely, and very comfortable. The condo layout afforded nice privacy for each couple while we were sharing a common space. The rooftop patio was a treasured treat!"

"We enjoyed our stay at this wonderful condo. The space was perfect for our family vacation. We did not visit the pool, but the beach (with chairs) was nice. Gorgeous views from the balcony. Really easy access to Red Hook!"

"Our host, Andre, was responsive and welcoming. The reason for the 4 stars vs. 5 stars is due to a very uncomfortable couch and no other place to sit inside except for two chairs that go with the very large table on the balcony. There’s some kind of table under the tv but I was afraid to touch it, and no place to locate it. The mattress was so so as were the pillows, the bureau was adequate enough for a short stay but we made do as we stayed 2-1/2 weeks. I would recommend putting the bureau under the tv and replacing the couch with something more sturdy. A small table and 2 chairs would help for a small meal. We love sitting on the balcony, but this trip, we initially had some inclement weather which didn’t allow for sitting on the balcony. There are some small maintenance issues that I will report to our host, nothing major but needs attention. The WiFi was good. Nice sized refrigerator, cooktop was adequate. Nice microwave and toaster oven with air fryer. I appreciated the cleaning supplies in order to maintain cleanliness during our stay. Overall, a pleasant stay and the view is stunning. "

"Great location for quiet and watching boats go by. About a 30min walk along the shore and through the woods to Red Hook. Downside place wasn't reddy at check in. Building supervisor had to help out getting information for a code to get in and to get house keeping to come. Check in was at 4 house keeping came at 630ish. We went back to find that place still was not up to par for cleanliness ( hair in shower etc) And she did not leave us with blankets. We only had sheets, which the fitted sheet came off the bed ever time you moved. Plus the mattress needs upgrading. People were very nice and helpful. Just wish everything was good from the start. I think if they replaced a few items and changed their house keeping service it could be a great place to stay."
