“Beautiful room and great location on a less busy street just a few minutes walk into the city centre.”

“Wir konnten ein Angebot eines Soft Openings genießen. Allerdings hatten wir eine höhere Kategorie gebucht und wie schon gedacht, war das Zimmer zu jenem Zeitpunkt noch nicht fertig. Wir bekamen allerdings trotzdem ein sehr schönes Zimmer, nur eben nicht mit Jacuzzzi und extra Fitness Raum usw. Wir konnten aber den Fitnessraum, Pool und Spa im benachbarten Hotel der Kette mitbenutzen. Als Ausgleich kam uns das Personal gleich mit einem gratis Airport Transfer entgegen. “Un endroit exceptionnel ! J'ai adoré mon séjour et je réserverai de nouveau. C'est l'emplacement idéal : tout près de l'océan et à distance raisonnable du centre historique de Porto. C'est même agréable d'y aller à pied si vous aimez les longues promenades au bord du Douro pour croiser les Portuans qui vivent et profitent de leur ville (et pas seulement des touristes !). Le matin sous la brume, le spectacle est tout simplement magnifique.”

“Veronica is very nice and helpful during our stay there. The location is very convenient to the restaurants we like and all sight seeing spots are all in walking distance. The only drawback is no elevator inside the building so if you are not travelling with a strong guy and with heavy suitcase, you will have to reconsider the larger suite here as mine is the smallest which is on the top floor. 😞”

“The staff were the absolute best part! So friendly and accommodating. We didn't realize that the hotel has a 2-star Michelin restaurant~ had we known, we would have made plans and booked in advance! As it was, the breakfast and normal dinner restaurant (the Bistro) were amazing. The location is pretty out of the way, but this hotel made it worthwhile.”

“Host is very nice. Property so close to metro very convenient. Room is clean and comfortable. Bed is medium firm which is perfect for me. Washroom always available to use. Kitchen has everything also. Only thing is please correct the info on expedia: there is no laundry, no breakfast, no luggage storage.”

“We loved the eclectic decor and the garden. We had a bedroom with an attached lounge. Unfortunately due to water damage we could not use the lounge.This did impact our stay with reduced space. The owners were apologetic but their misfortune affected our stay with the use of space. The breakfast and location were great. Overall our stay was impacted with the odour of the flooded room drifting into our sleeping space. Despite apologies from the owners no further compensation or consideration was……

“It was very convenient a with everything we needed. It is a bit far away from the more touristy areas. But great if that is what you are looking for. Staff are good at communication and very friendly and helpful. Grocery store less than a block away.”

“Our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast here. The location was a bit out of the way for tourist attractions but perhaps this is reflected in the lower price than other hotels. Uber was cheap and useful to get around.”
