“Once we had found the entrance which isn't that well sign-posted (my only complaint), we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality and cleanliness of the room and the relative ease of parking (we only had to pay until 6pm and Sundays are free). Breakfast was also a pleasant surprise, given that the menu in the room only mentioned continental style but plentiful, good quality hot food was available. Finally, as we were visiting Halifax, the short walk to the train station was a bonus. Would……

“Great location, with free parking and an onsite restaurant. ”

“Excellent for the price I paid. Rooms have recently been renovated and it showed. The only niggles were that the extractor fan in the bathroom was very noisy and probably needs replacing (room 10) and there was no hot water: I tried to have a shower but couldn't: No matter how long you ran the tap for or in which position the water never got warm. Would definitely stay there again. Big thank you to Jamie who so very kindly let me check in early.”

“What a lovely place, check in was nice & easy & the receptionist was very welcoming & friendly. We had a drink in the pub & all staff were super friendly, especially the lad who was also on check out this morning! We didn’t have breakfast as we went to my parents house nearby & my dad cooked for us 😊”
