「We LOVED the eclectic feel and the view!」

「Hubby and I celebrating our 35th anniversary. The location was private, quiet and mere feet from the water. The house was charming and exactly what we needed. We had fun exploring the Kitty Hawk and Virginia Beach area. The screen porch provided great protection from the insects while allowing the sounds of the water to lull you into relaxation. 」

「The house was great the view off the back porch was breathtaking would recommend to anyone」

「Cabin was perfect for a long weekend stay. A few more towels would have been nice for 4 guests. Would recommend a stay here. 」

「We had a wonderful stay! The home was very clean, and the host was very responsive to messages. It’s a beautiful location on the water with kayaks and a paddle board provided. Our dogs loved roaming the property and the neighbors are all very nice and welcoming. The highlight was watching the sunsets out on the dock. We would highly recommend!」

「Clean, cozy, comfortable with calming views of the sound. 」

「I’m a business traveler, and I looked around for some reviews that showed a good place to lay my head for the evening in this place hit the spot. It’s clean easy to park. There are no amenities like breakfast or a pool, but I didn’t need one as a business traveler. It was perfect for what it was.」

「This place is always perfect for us. Thank you!」

「Okay the property is very expensive for the price that I paid. So definitely no go and will not suggest this to anyone. Additionally, the host is very polite on the face of it, but is really unfair when it comes to the problem solving. Like literally, the bathroom knob was broken and the host is like IDC if someone come into the bathroom while you poop.」

「everything was wonderful」

「Octopus Oasis was beautiful, spacious, and perfect for our group. The two kitchens were a huge plus and made everything so convenient. Kym, the property manager, was wonderful—friendly, responsive, and great to work with. Everything was well-maintained, and we had a fantastic stay. Highly recommend!」

「They didn't tell me they had somebody living on site until I was on my way there, between midnight and 2:30 a.m., because I told them I would be late, getting there. There was somebody else there when I got there in the room that I was supposed to be in, plus the person that lives on site. The key was where it was supposed to be, but the outside door was locked, and I rang the doorbell several times, and contacted the host, by calling and sending messages, and I still had to wait about 20 minutes...

「I Loved everything about this Beautiful House, Very clean, safe, everything things was there that you needed, I will recommend anyone to book, and the host, was very nice, prompt, in response to a maintenance call. Just All Good.!!! 5 Stars in everything. Thank you So much!!! Would love to stay again....」

「Overall this was a great property great location. The canal was neat to go explore and check out the osprey nests. Close enough to the beach but far enough away for privacy. The hot tub was nice to relax in. Communication with the host was great. We had a few minor issues they addressed very promptly. Highly recommend.」

「This property was comfortable and clean, with easy parking, and a quiet street. We chose it because of the balcony overlooking the water, we enjoyed sitting there in evening and morning, watching the boats go by.」

「Great place for a quick getaway for two!」

「It was the perfect little house! We had a seafood boil under the carport, listening to the wind chimes and frogs singing. Everything was unique and beautifully decorated as well as all the supplies and amenities you may need. Beds were comfy and the hosts had it a crispy 69 degrees when we arrived which was perfect! I felt like I was visiting a best friend's house. Highly recommend!!! 10/10!!」
