We kinda enjoyed the hotel, the elevators were fast and never too crowded. It is definitely an older hotel and the walls are paper thin. We heard furniture moving, every door on our floor shut and someone screaming a floor below. The room was okay. We had an annoying noise at the beginning. We Asked the front desk and they said “it happens”. But it was pretty constant. My husband found a maintenance guy in the hallway- He came to check it out and it was a leaky valve on the water and he fixed it right away. The food was okay. My husband enjoyed it mostly. An okay variety but I wanted more simple food and more fresh fruit. Never have I been to Mexico and not had a ton of fresh fruit. Myself and my kids are picky so ate the same foods over and over. There was one night at dinner, there was absolutely no food My kids would eat, so we had to go upstairs and order room service. A little repetitive having the same options for lunch every day. Our last day here they seemed to be out of lots of different food and everybody was very slow to get things done. The entertainment team was fun. The music was a bit loud but we wanted to be near the kids pool so we put up with it. We did enjoy the pool space and easy access to the beach with more controlled entry back to the resort. Good variety of drinks. Though there was inconsistency with the pool bartenders. We started with the menu from the app- they didn’t know some drinks regularly. Their excuse was the menu changed….

Muy mala experiencia Regresamos porque hace 2 años nos había gustado, pero esta vez fue una gran decepción. Hubo piso mojado sin señalización. Me resbalé saliendo del elevador y luego mi mamá (70 años) también cayó en el lobby. La tomografía confirmó hematoma de 4 mm. El hotel no asumió responsabilidad ni ofreció transporte al hospital. El accidente terminó en una cuenta médica de ~18,000 MXN. La habitación estaba limpia y el A/C funcionaba bien, pero las paredes y puertas son muy delgadas (se escucha todo) y el cuarto está outdated. La comida del buffet fue mala (3/10). Lo único rescatable fueron los tacos de cochinita pibil y las pizzas de la piscina. El gerente del buffet fue cordial, pero la mayoría del personal y chefs tuvieron muy mala actitud, salvo contadas excepciones. El restaurante Marco Polo (francés) fue especialmente decepcionante: mucho protocolo y expectativas para una comida y postres mediocres, además de mobiliario muy deteriorado. No regresaríamos.

Las habitaciones buenas, el personal muy amable, pero falta de insumos comestibles en los snacks y bebidas. La limpieza de las habitaciones es muy baja, es decir, no la realizan, solo tienden las canas. No cuentan con accesos para personas con discapacidad. Vi por lo menos tres personas que tuvieron que ser cargadas por sus familiares, porque el personal del hotel no ayudó.

Had a fabulous time here during the Christmas break. The staff were helpful and very polite and friendly, rooms were spacious and clean , food selection was good but wish they had halal/ kosher. Beach was beautiful and pools were clean and very nice . The shows were very entertaining as well . Will definitely come back again. Thank you !!

Due to an error in the reservation created by Expedia, the hotel charged me an additional amount for my child. I had entered my children’s details correctly at the time of booking. Despite this, the reservation reflected incorrect information, which the hotel refused to honor without additional payment. I contacted Expedia immediately and spent nearly two hours working with their support team, but the issue was not resolved. During this time, my family — including a one-year-old infant — was forced to wait in the hotel lobby without a room after a long journey. This situation was exhausting, stressful, and completely unacceptable. With no resolution from Expedia and no alternative offered, I had no choice but to pay the additional amount out of pocket simply to get a room for my family. This experience reflects a clear failure in booking accuracy and customer support.
