My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at the Royalton Chic. The room was modern, clean and beautifully designed. Food was good, I especially enjoyed the hot wings and quesadillas at the sports bar!! Drinks were great. Foam pool party was so much fun and The beach was clean. 10/10 for us! I would definitely recommended this hotel!

The service was not the best. There were not enough servers or bartenders and they were not very friendly. The upgrade to Diamond club was NOT worth it. We had to wake up early if we wanted to get a seat on the beach or pool. There was not a lot to do on the resort other than sit on the beach or by the pool. The food was not great. We were not a fan that all restaurants required a reservation but the time slots got filled really quickly so it was hard to get a reservation. The elevators were also extremely slow so it took forever to get around the resort.

When we arrived at the hospitality appeared over the top, however, then we were directed to a marketing person. That was almost insistent on getting me to class to talk about a membership with a hotel. They were persistent. I ended attending. I expended two hours of my vacation time to hear this promotion where they wanted to sell a membership for five and 10 years at 9000 and $14,000 definitely not worth it. Empty bottles and glasses were found on the beach. It was difficult to get towel service. Their bathroom where they meet their prime members didn’t have toilet paper at one point in time at fecal matter on the floor. Their highlighted restaurants had low quality food. The presence in the vibe was very poor and the quality of food was not good. They want to be a high-end hotel and offer VIP services but have a lot of work to do. I decided I won’t even go back. There are plenty of other hotels in Mexico that have lovely people, great restaurants, and are clean.

I got hit in the head with automatic door that caused me headaches the rest of my stay and internal bruising in my temple. The staff did not care or follow up on my complain. Additionally, I was told I can check out late no one mentioned I would get charged and they charged me despite me saying I was unaware

The butlers when you get Diamond Club are very helpful as well as the Diamond Club front desk people during check in.

For the most part everything was fantastic. The food was good, the staff is really nice and get you involved with fun things to do. My only complaints are the elevators are slow so if one opens up, you just jump on not matter the direction. And to do any upgrades were pretty pricey. We didn't upgrade and didn't feel the need to. Overall, we had a great time and would stay there again.

The beach was spectacular, the bed was cozy and check-in/check-out were quick and easy. Huge shoutout to Jorge on the beach, Aram at Vespa and the Vibe Team, who were all fantastic and elevated our experience. On the downside, the pools and hot tub were freezing and the nightly shows didn’t always match what was listed in the app. The elevators caused major backups during busy times. Room service was disappointing — during our 6-night stay, housekeeping only came once and we had to repeatedly call for towels, soap and coffee. There was also a strong, unpleasant smell in the shower. Amazing location and staff, but housekeeping and maintenance need improvement.

Staff was amazing! Our Butlers, Diego and Luis were great but especially Diego. Miguel was the highlight of my trip. He made THE BEST margaritas ever! I was disappointed with the margaritas and he told me to come try his. OMG! I didn’t want one from anyone else. I found him or had Diego find him each time I wanted a margarita.

The staff were the BEST, thoughtful attentive and kind. Beautiful stay, beach was clean and not too crowded mid-December. The food wasn’t the best, like if you are a foodie and want to eat amazing food I wouldn’t go there. Otherwise, with everything else included, it was overall an excellent stay.
