“We enjoyed 3-generation family time at this cottage. The host Leslie has taken care of every detail, and we really lacked for nothing, even a sewing kit when our daughter needed to repair some pants. We had one challenge with our 6'2" grandson who could not get into the loft area without bumping his head, but slept all right on the couch. Our younger grandkids really enjoyed their privacy in the upstairs loft. Maybe it was the time of year, but the bugs were pretty bad, so we were thankful to……

“The cottage is welcoming and comfortable. We enjoyed everything it offered - hot tub, firepit, lawn games, drinking our morning coffees outdoors on the deck. However, the most wonderful part of our vacation was the private beach. We swam and played on the beach every day. The children - ages 6 and 9 - loved it. It is a quiet, relaxed location but still just a five to 10 minute drive to Foodland grocery store and the town of Bayfield. I hope to return next summer. ”

“The Lakefront Haven is such a lovely spot! The views of the lake and access to the semi-private beach area definitely made our stay memorable. Lots of outdoor space for games and we spent a lot of time reading on the porch. The cottage was comfortable, well-equipped and had a good amount of common space for everyone (2 adults, 2 teens and a dog). Bedrooms were tight but as expected based on the listing. We loved that we could bring our dog and he loved being there. The neighbouring cottages are……

“The cottage is just as pictured in photos, large open downstairs, nice patio with lakeview and GREAT beach. Upstairs can get VERY hot and the track coming in is super muddy but we had a great time there.”

“The property was simple but had everything we needed. It is on an amazing secluded area of beach. The water is lovely (but very cold at the time we visited), shallow, and rocky at first. The sunsets are incomparable. I would definitely book this again. ”

“Thrilled to have found this gem! We were looking for a place where 12 adults, 5 children and 2 dogs could celebrate an 80th birthday and this location did not disappoint!! It was less than 2 hours from home and everyone had time to roam, rest and relax. We had a catered meal on Saturday night so didn’t do much cooking but the house was well equipped for everything … lots of dishes and flatware!! We lucked out with weather and were outside most of the time but did enjoy the basement activities……
