“My stay at the Black Walnut Inn was absolutely wonderful! The inn is charming, beautifully maintained, and exceptionally clean, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel special from the moment you arrive. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Every detail added to the inn’s unique charm and cozy elegance. I truly loved my stay and would happily return. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a lovely, memorable……

“Nice place to live (self catering type) but a slop hill of about 25m to walk through if on foot. With 7 day pass, it is easy to travel to Boston city about 40mins. Nearby, get restaurants and 7-11. It is a good place (cost effective) to stay for my Boston marathon and walk around Boston. ”

“We were the only guest we saw the staff at check-in. Only the place is very old and years of dirt are embedded in the windowsills and bathroom corners. There were no other patrons to chat with which we had hoped for. I don’t recommend it.”

“Very nice suite, very clear rules, 5stars! Thanks. （It would be best to install non-slip mats in the glass shower enclosure, as the plastic floor might be slippery! Of course, installing non-slip handrails would be even better, thank you.） ”

The host took around 5 HOURS to respond to our parking concerns, then told us that reading messages was “not a priority.” The alternative parking location was a 20-minute walk away, which felt unsafe at night. We received an overwhelming list of 25+ house rules and……

“There was a misunderstanding with our stay, the host answered right away and was really helpful. We got a new room quickly. The walls are thin, bring earplugs! Cozy room, comfortable bed”

“Sarah, the Innkeeper, was terrific! Very friendly and responsive.”

“All good except for neighbors are noisy and too cold at night.”

“In a word -- exquisite!”

“At the beginning, I booked only 1 night here, however after I lived here, I couldn’t help keeping booking one night more and more, Even sharing bathroom, couldn’t bother me too much about that, And I had been kept Stayed at Room 301(Sturfs) for all my stay here, which is a Small but Warm room with romantic view of Commonwealth Eve in the snow, and a small white shelf with a Lot Of Wonderful Books. Breakfast are Healthy, Coffee and Tea are nice and supplied in 24 hours. If there is not a……
