“This was a very poor experience. We had no water for shower, and no water in kitchen sink. We checked in late at night, got up to take showers, and weren't able to do so because there was no water. We'd rented the cabin to go to a wedding and weekend events. Checked out an hour before checkout time to get to the event--unshowered-- and called the host, who didn't pick up. Left a message reporting the problem, and then we were told that we should have spoke to him to have him fix the problem……

“Love this little cabin! Such a great stop for us and our dogs. Having access to the beach area at the river and Covered Bridge Farm Table restaurant within walking distance is awesome!”

“The two bedroom cottage I stayed in at Cottage Place during a relocation was really nice. It was very quiet, comfortable, and had everything you could want for a relaxing and memorable stay. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the location right next to Squam Lake was terrific. I look forward to staying there again in the Fall.”

““Cozy”—accurate description, kind of tight inside. Host was extremely responsive, replaced broken toaster, but could not get microwave fixed during days we were there (part delivered, but it didn’t fit). Perhaps it was growth spurt due to weather, but weeds had really popped up in lawn. Hot humid weather while we were there, but minisplit HVAC handled it.”

“Cute and comfortable. The host communicated well and had all the essentials available. We enjoyed our stay.”

“Had a great little getaway at the cottage. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen area was well stocked with plenty of dishes, plates, etc. The bathroom was very clean and had the best water pressure in the shower. I plan to go back in the summer.”

“My sister and I stayed here for one night after a great Foliage Train Ride in Meredith. The property was perfectly decorated for Halloween and when we got to the cottage, we were extremely impressed. The little kitchen /breakfast nook was adorable, spotlessly clean from top to bottom, the bathroom, like Mr Clean was in there himself. The beds were really comfy, awesome mattresses. Outside are your own little sitting area with personal firepits and privacy. It’s like cottages in a camping……

“The cottage was perfect for the night. Cozy space and very clean. The instructions and house book were very clear. We had a great time.”

“The cabin was impeccably clean, well appointed with cutlery, pans and utensils. The information book had clear directions to get to both of the association beaches. The host even had welcome snacks out which my kids greatly appreciated! The "shed of fun" was a huge hit with my pre-teens with basketball, foosball, ping pong and darts all available for them to play with. We had a great stay and would certainly re-book!”

“Cozy cabin, very clean. Had everything we need. ”

“My bed was broken to the point where I was sleeping at an angle & The couch bed was nasty it had stains and dirt all over it , The bunk beds were like taking a trip to bar heaven it was truly a painful stay”
