“Arrived close to closing time and was warmly greeted by publcan, staff and pub regilars.
Felt safe and was well fed at breakfast time. Nice to hear other guests talking about their intended visitsof the day.
Publican helpful with my additional enquiries and offered suggestions of taxis to get to and from a venue..
Lovely lunch eaten after checking out.
Beer Garden well looked after and village was nice to wander around with further walks suggested, if required.
The place is cared for.

“This stay at Blackthorn went above and beyond what I needed - some time and space for myself to write. In the comfort and peace of this hut in this location, I was able to write nearly 10,000 words, unheard of in my everyday busy life at home!
