The photos are extremely misleading. The exterior looks passable, but once you're inside the room, it's a completely different experience.
It's obvious this hotel started renovations and then gave up halfway. Everything feels patched together in a rushed, careless way. The toilet and shower both have significant rust issues, which is unacceptable. The room was so humid that the floors were actually wet--everything felt damp, including bedding and now our clothes.
The kitchenette is essentially useless. Yes, there's a fridge, microwave, and cooktop, but there are zero supplies. No pans. No utensils. No plates. Not even a fork or knife. Calling it a kitchenette is generous at best.
We requested extra towels and had to ask two additional times before they were given. On day two, our door broke and we were locked out of our room--twice--until a manager could let us in while waiting for maintenance. That's not just inconvenient, it's a basic security issue.
The overall vibe is grey, drab, and depressing. The bed was comfortable, which is the only positive thing I can say. An extra blanket would have been appreciated--it is Florida, but it's still winter.
To top it off, when I asked a staff member where to put our trash (since there is no housekeeping service), he was rude and dismissive.
This place feels neglected, poorly managed, and nowhere near the experience the photos suggest. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere. Better hotels in the area for same or less
