「This trip was for my kiddo’s 14th birthday! She wants to be a national park ranger when she grows up, so what better place to take her than the great Smokey mountains! In saying that, I wanted to find somewhere that would be fun and different. When we came across Gorgeous Stays I knew we must book it! I went back and fourth because they had so many options to stay in however, we decided to go with the schoolie bus which was decorated in all national park decor. It was perfect! Scott and Wendi...

「The Tapoco Lodge is absolutely beautiful and the staff was amazing. The cabin we stayed in felt like everything was antique but somehow still new. My only complaint was that Expedia allowed me to book it as a pet-friendly room when the actual room I chose wasn’t pet-friendly. The Tapoco honored the reservation anyway and took care of us. They were terrific. My wife is already asking if we can stay here again. 」

「Out of the way and off the grid property. The road in and out is single lane, be prepared to back out if need be. Lots of twists and turns, if you’re one to get car sick be prepared. But once there it’s a quaint, quiet studio like place with nice little deck to sit on and enjoy the tranquility of the area. No cell, no web service. Just you and your partner, or as it was me and my girl. 」

「My son and I stayed here while riding motorcycles on the Tail of the Dragon. We had a great time, and the house was just as it was advertised. It has a great fire pit area for cooking and discussing the days rides. We enjoyed our stay.」

「This house was so quiet and clean! We enjoyed coffee on the screened in porch watching the birds! This place is very relaxing and not a far drive from the shops at Bryson City! The house was fully stocked with everything we needed such as towels, coffee, all kitchen utensils, linens and much more!」

「Location is hard to find in dark, but loved it. Very peaceful except for neighbors barking hound dogs. Truly enjoyed staying there.

「This stay was nice. There are a few houses nearby, however it is still pretty secluded. The camper has everything you would need for a successful stay. We didn’t need to use everything provided since staying for one night. Ben and Christine are very nice hosts.」

「Nice camper and host, clean. Enjoyed the stay. Only negatives I could possibly say were that the piece of land it sits on is small, would have liked to have more space, the Mi-Fi would come and go but given the location i understand and the main bad mattress was not comfortable for my side sleeping and boney Hips. Maybe a mattress topper would be nice. But Overall everything worked and was nice, price was great and would stay there again. 」

「We loved this property! Great location, everything appliances etc worked great, clean and all mattresses were so comfy!! Love all the little touches here! We got to meet the owners while they were cleaning next door and so glad we could put a face with such a great property!! We will definitely be back soon!! 「Totally loved the cabin! Very clean, totally stocked with all essentials. I would caution anyone with mobility issues this isn’t for you due to the spiral stairs leading to the loft, it’s a tight narrow staircase.
Over all loved the space!」
