Far away from ubud, lots of stairs

We had a wonderful stay at The Balé. What really sets it apart from the larger resorts is the exceptional personalised service. The team genuinely gets to know you and is always one step ahead. Their help with transport, reservations and local arrangements made everything so easy. We loved the spacious villa and private pool, delicious breakfasts and great coffee. A peaceful, personal experience that made our stay feel very special.

A Peaceful Ubud Retreat with Exceptional Food and Amenities We were very happy with our stay at The Udaya Resorts and Spa. The resort is located in a quiet and peaceful area, about 10 minutes or so by car from the main part of Ubud. While it is a little away from the centre, we actually enjoyed being away from the crowds and found it a relaxing place to stay. For a four-star property, we were particularly impressed with the room amenities and the quality of the food. In fact, we found the overall experience here even better than some of the five-star properties we stayed at during our trip, including Sudamala in Sanur. I would definitely recommend The Udaya Resorts and Spa to travellers looking for a more peaceful and less busy Ubud experience, while still being within easy driving distance of the main attractions and town centre. A very enjoyable stay overall.

All the staff were so helpful, especially Oki who looked for a spare caron box for my rattan bags :) If i were to come back to Bali again, i will stay here at Nau and never go out anymore until I have to come back home.
