“La Mare resort staff were friendly and helpful, and the food in the restaurant was delicious. The boat house was clean and comfortable and in great condition and the area was peaceful. The resort was however very far away from any public transportation and we had to take an Uber into the city and sights. The Ubers were affordable but the cost did add up.”

“A great spot! Close to the metro and super easy to get to Central station. Near many restaurants and grocery stores. The houseboat is very comfortable and clean, the beds are very comfortable, and had everything we needed. The best part, each morning two Coots (black and white ducks) would come to the window asking for some breakfast, so we shared a croissant. We really enjoyed the stay! Thank you!! ”

He even had laminated instructions and maps should any questions pop up about the boat or the local area.It was very interesting feeling the boat rise and fall with the tides. “Ein Stern ist selbst zu viel!!! Achtung - Betrug!!! Das Boot was angeboten wird gibt es zwar aber wird ausschließlich bei booking angeboten. Wir standen vor nichts in Zaandam und mussten erst da hin fahren von Expedia aus bis wir Ersatz bekommen haben. Da hatten wir bereits 25,-€ Bahngeld bezahlt, was Expedia nicht interessiert hat. Wir hatten einen Tag vorher gelesen das es an dem Standort nicht existiert und am Anreisetag sofort Expedia kontaktiert. Die Kommunikation hat gut geklappt, nur……
